A New Poetry Collection

Debbie A. Radford is a Houston-based poet whose writing blends lyrical reflections with nature-inspired metaphors to explore themes of healing, love, and resilience. Heavily influenced by Emily Dickinson and Pablo Neruda, her poetry moves between emotional depth and passionate expression. As well as a poet, Debbie is a clinical social worker and mother, drawing on empathy and imagination in both her life and her writing. Her debut collection Desert Dreams was published in February 2024, inspired by the high desert of her hometown, Albuquerque, NM. When she’s not writing, Debbie enjoys reading, playing soccer, and spending time with her family.
